Butter and Egg Adventures Low Ropes Challenge Courses
The camp’s Butter and Egg Adventures Low Ropes Challenge Courses consists of a facilitator-guided experience through a series of activities and initiatives designed to foster teamwork and develop problem-solving skills.
Participants walk on cables mounted just off the ground, swing on ropes, traverse through rope mazes, and lift one another over (or through) elements that test their mental, physical, and intellectual capabilities.
What Does The Program Teach?
We have developed affordable programs that are designed to teach teambuilding and leadership skills to students in an exciting and hands-on environment. The goal is to develop your group into a successful and effective team. All aspects of the program are flexible and can be tailored to your needs and goals.
Who can participate?
The program is designed for corporate, middle and high school student, and college groups. We also offer teambuilding and cooperative game activities for older elementary-age students.
What Are The Benefits?
Additionally, mobile props, used both indoors and outdoors, are used to enhance opportunities to develop the group’s creativity and to encourage camaraderie in a fun atmosphere for all those involved. We believe when you couple a great experience with mentoring and team building skills, the individuals involved are more likely to walk away with a positive and life changing experience.
The program begins with an overview of the day’s activities, followed by a discussion on safety, an explanation of the “Challenge by Choice” philosophy (people participating at the level in which they are comfortable), agreement on goals to be accomplished, and a few warm-up games designed to establish a comfort level within the group.
A minimum of 10 people constitute a low-ropes group, with 12- 17 people being the optimal group size. Debriefing of the events occurs during and after the conclusion of the program to enhance the learning experience of all participants.
